Welcome to Year 5

I hope you have all enjoyed a lovely half term and are ready for another very busy time in Beech Class.

Mrs Rigby will be working with Beech Class this Half Term.

This half-term is chock-a-block with learning!

In Maths we will be focusing on Decimals and Percentages, Perimeter and Area Statistics

In English we are studying the text of THE THOUSAND YEAR OLD BOY by Ross Welford.

In RE we will be thinking about , Why do Christians believe that Easter is a celebration of victory? Asking ourselves how does this impact on how we live our  lives.

In Music we will be continuing our musical repertoire with Mrs Partington and  'Choir Church'.

PE will be led by Mr Pilkington  on a Friday afternoon, please remember to bring your full school PE kit on that day.

Spellings and times table homework will be given out on a Friday and will be tested the following Friday.
